Cornell Men’s Hockey Games February 23 and 24, 2018

Join fellow Cornellians for the Cornell Men’s Hockey Games February 23rd and 24th  

Co-sponsored by the Cornell Club of the Greater Capital District (CCGCD) and the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences Alumni Association

CORNELL vs. RPI 

Friday, February 23rd at 7:00 PM in Troy at the RPI Houston Field House

Tickets for the RPI Hockey game may be purchased from: Bob ’54 and Nancy ’52 Lynk. Send them Your Name, Guests Names, Your Address, Telephone Number, E-mail Address and the number of tickets you want @ $10.00 per person.

Your order for the RPI Game must be postmarked by Monday, February 12th at the latest (If the supply lasts that long)The Cornell Club of the Greater Capital District (CCGCD) has only reserved 140 seats this year so send your order soon!

Cornell vs. Union College

Saturday, February 24th (this is the last regular game of the season)

The Puck Drops at 7:00pm at Union College Achilles Rink

$15.00 per Hockey Ticket (Seating in the upper level bleachers in one of the Cornell blocks)

Groups of more than 6 must contact the Union College Ticket Office to order tickets to insure you can all sit together!  PLEASE NOTE: Due to Union being the National Champions a couple of years ago and every home game mostly sold-out, seating is very limited and will only be available on a first paid first served basis until our 165 tickets are sold out!

Plans are being discussed for a group of  BIG RED FANS to gather about 4:00 PM before the Union College game at a local restaurant in the Schenectady area for a little fun, food and fellowship…BIG RED HOT HOCKEY TEAM style. Look for a separate e-mail blog to be sent out soon once the details are finalized if this becomes a reality, so stay tuned for more details.

Cornell Cares: Volunteer at Regional Food Bank Saturday January 6, 2018

Join the Cornell Club to Volunteer at the Regional Food Bank! (Saturday, Jan. 6)

Alumni volunteers Wanted! Participate locally in the 26th annual Cornell Cares Day. The Albany area alumni will be contributing time and energy to the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern NY on January 6, 2018. From 9 until 11 am we’ll work in whichever part of the food warehouse requested. Please come prepared with sturdy, closed toe shoes and layered clothing for a morning of good works and good fun. CU students are welcome, too. Look for the club banner.

Cornell Club Evening Event at the New Hearst Media Center: It All Started with Martha, Flora and Eleanor (Monday, May 8)

  • Special Guests Dean Alan Mathios and Associate Dean Rachel Dunifon of the College of Human Ecology will tell us how the College’s rich history plays out today.
