To celebrate the English professor emeritus’s lifetime of achievements, the Department of English has arranged a weekend of activities July 21-22 and invites the public for talks, readings and a lecture by Abrams based on the title essay of his new book.
Join Cornell alumni and friends in the Grandstand for reserved block seating to cheer on the thoroughbreds at the Saratoga Race Track.

In addition to the reserved grandstand seat, the price includes reserved tables under the Festival tent to meet for “bring your own lunch picnic.” Also, there are a number of venues on the grounds to buy lunch. Either way, bring your lunch and join us at the Festival Tent where we have reserved tables just for Cornell alums.

$12.50 per person (Includes a seat in the grandstand, and use of tables in the Festival tent). Price of admission to the grounds is not included. Attendees will need to pay at the gate a separate “Grandstand Admission Fee” of $3 to enter the grounds.
