|Dear Fellow Alumni Leaders:
We have decided to extend the deadline for CAA Cup submission because of power outage issues due to Sandy. Please submit your entries by next Friday, November 9.
We have several entries so far; they’re looking amazing!
What is the CAA Cup?
This award recognizes outstanding programs that Cornell volunteers create and execute, and offers a platform to share these brilliant ideas with other Cornellians.
A committee of CAA board members will determine the top few entries. Then, when you register for the 2013 Cornell Alumni Leadership Conference (January 16-18 in Boston), you will be asked to review the finalists and vote for your top entries.
1. Post a two-minute video or automated PowerPoint onto your own YouTube account that demonstrates why your alumni program is worthy of receiving the CAA Cup. If you’re unsure how to do this, there are brief, online tutorials available on YouTube:
How to upload and edit videos for YouTube
How to create a PowerPoint presentation for YouTube
2. Complete the short entry form by November 9, 2012
Any alumni or parent Cornell volunteer organization, including regional clubs, classes, affinity groups, undergraduate and graduate school alumni boards, diversity groups, and CAAAN, is eligible to submit entries.
Videos can showcase any activities that your organization produces, including events, membership drives, recruitment videos, campaigns, etc. Use your imagination! The program must have been executed sometime between September 1, 2011 and October 31, 2012.
If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer Cunningham in the Office of Alumni Affairs.
Let’s Go Red!
