Congratulations to alum Brad Rosenstein and Jack’s Oyster House for serving up fresh oysters for 100 years!
[Albany Mayor] Jennings and two generations of Rosensteins unveiled Jack’s centennial banners across the intersection of State and Pearl streets on Wednesday morning. Brad Rosentein’s father, Arnold, 91 and still an occasional presence at the restaurant his dad founded, stayed away because of the single-digit Januaryness of the day. But Brad was there, as was his son, Jack, 19, who is a student at the Culinary Institute of America and is doing an internship this year at the restaurant. (Daughter Jillian, 22, is finishing up a degree in hotel administration at Brad’s and Arnold’s alma mater, Cornell.)
